Out of Jacob’s distress, out of the midst of what He was going through, he prayed. Your best time in prayer will be when you are in the midst of pain, hurt, trouble or disappointment. The best time to pray is when you do not feel like praying because things look so bad. That is the kind of praying that really does not come from you. It comes out of the midst of you, your spirit. You are overwhelmed. You do not know what to say. You hurt so badly. You feel so lost. This is when the Holy Spirit takes over in you. He becomes your strength to pray and prevail in prayer until. Then you will find like Jacob your answer to prayer and your blessings as a result of prayer. But note, first the blessing then the manifestation.
