I John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Because you are born again you have a measure of faith in you. Once you get faith… once faith comes into your life… you have what Adam lost in his life when he disobeyed God. Jesus spent quite a bit of time teaching faith. No matter what the situation call for Jesus reached for faith to solve it. He lived by faith, using faith to take Him through every aspect of life. He exercised faith everyday. He always had a faith atmosphere around Him. He used faith as He lived in this world.
If you live in the kingdom of God, and you do because you have been born again, you have to operate in faith. The Bible calls Job an upright man. Job 1:1 “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” But Job had something in his life that gave the Devil access to his life. Job 3:25 “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.” The enemy tries to bring fear in our lives, like he did Job. He uses fear to contaminate your faith. It causes faith not to work in your life. No matter what the situation, do not ever fear. II Tim 1:7 “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
God wants us to live in and by faith and operate our lives by faith. This means we are to develop our faith. The word helps us to develop faith.
- Matt 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
- Matt 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
- Rom 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
- Acts 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost…
- I Tim 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned;
- James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
- James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
- I Jn 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Faith creates… it makes something out of something you cannot see. You and I have eternal life. Faith takes what is in the world of the spirit and brings it back into this natural world. All you have to do is show your faith for the thing that you desire according to the word of God. When you put something on layaway you have to show a slip that says you own it. The Bible describes all the things that are yours… that belongs to you… what God ordained for those in the realm of the Spirit… the things that Jesus died to get back for mankind. He left it for you in His will… the Holy Bible. Faith reaches up and takes hold of what already belong to you. Everything you need is in heaven right now. Everything you will ever need is in heaven… now! Reach up in faith and get what is yours and bring it back into this realm. Once you see it – in the word – faith brings it to you and you have it.
Each time you work faith it grows. Each time you use your confession faith develops in you. It goes to work for you as you put it to work. It won’t work if you do not put it to work.
The Word of God tells you what is in the Spirit realm. This is your link. For Abraham to receive what God said to him, he had to confess it. He had to confess it in the earth. Not what was gong to be, but just as God said. You have to say what God said. By His stripes I was healed… Past tense…
Now, the image of what you are saying in faith is being developed and formed inside of you. Your words are changing things. Faith forms it inside of you. It is just as real and it is yours. You have it. Sometimes when you start this, things get worse… it gets bad. But your words changes things. Faith overcomes. You keep saying it… keep confessing it because your faith works and change the things into what you say. And by your continual confession those things changes into substance… into what you say. Keep saying it… keep working it… because faith will overcome in this world. Faith and the word of God in your mouth create the thing that you say with your mouth.
You release faith through the words you speak. Do not wait on the action in the natural, move on your faith and you will have what you say. Faith is ready to work. Keep working it and you will have what you believe and what you say.
When the life of faith becomes natural to you, the manifestation will come easy and regular and at that moment. You will be able to say a thing and see a thing in that moment like Jesus did.
