Jesus knew that you needed a supernatural power and life. He knew that the very presence of God’s Spirit had to enter your heart and impart God’s divine nature into you and recreate your being and live within your body, giving you the power to control your life for God and for the glory of God. It is time, saints, to submit, yield and surrender to the presence, power and life of God’s Holy Spirit. He wants to come in and first do a work in you.

Part of His job is..

–      to create in you the nature and character of God the Father.

–      to bring you to the place of maturity in Christ.

–      to empower you so that you would never have to use your own strength/power to do the will of God.

–      to develop in you absolute trust in God.

–      to make sure that your life conforms to the life of Christ.

–      to reproduce Christ’s holy life in you.

–      to gain full control of you to lead you in the life of righteousness.

I have asked God, Where is the link?  What can we do to see it all come together?  I am talking about seeing God’s power manifested through the members of the Body of Christ today – see it flowing, manifesting in our lives. We must give God more of us, yea, all of us, holding back nothing.  If the Holy Spirit can have all of us, and fully dwell in us, He becomes the source of life in us that will manifest the life, power, presence of God.  Is the Holy Spirit fully in you – every area of your life, every compartment?  Jesus gives us the example.  He had a proper relationship with the Holy Spirit thus God could manifest Himself and power through Him.  We must have a proper relationship with the Holy Spirit if we are going to do the works that Jesus did.  For you see, it is the Spirit that does the work (Mat 12:28). This is how we connect what Jesus did in His day to what we do in our day. We do it by the Spirit. The Spirit must move or quicken us, empower us, lead us, teach us, intercede for us, reveal Christ through us, enable us to witness, whatever must be done to show that Jesus lives today.

God wants more of us. We need to ask God to order our days, our calendars, all our activities. It must be put to the test. We must come before God and ask Him to order our steps. Things will come to take your thoughts and your peace. But let nothing make you anxious. Stay focus. Give God your all. Learn the power of the kingdom of God. God’s kingdom is already here. God has come into the earth through the Lord Jesus Christ to manifest his presence, power, righteousness, and glory. When the kingdom of God is at hand, it means that God is at hand to show His power against the enemy.

The servants that God uses best are those who draw near to Him. The servants that God uses best are those that stand before Him until He releases His will into them. The ministries that God uses best are those with members who draw near to God and stand before Him waiting for orders. These are they that do the real work of God, the real work of the Church. They are willing to die daily that the life of Jesus might manifest in them. They deny themselves daily, waiting to hear from God. God provides their every need. He even gives to them the prayer they pray. If you are planning to serve God, give to Him your all. Let nothing come between you and God.

Men and women who draw near to God and learn how to stand alone before Him are women and men who do great things. Men and women who have the revelation of God burned into their spirit are men and women who stand fearless before every foe to carry out the will and work of God.  It is hard to defeat a person who draws near to God, who has the revelation of God burned into them, and who knows His will for their lives. The revelation of God becomes their strength for service and ministry, for fighting against the enemy, for enduring the test, the trials, and the persecution. It is like God put something in them that the fires of hell can not put out.

Real ministry starts with God.  The real work of the Church starts with God.  First, God wants us to draw near to Him to give us a revelation of Himself and His will for our lives and ministries. You can see this in the life of Moses, David the shepherd boy, the prophets, even Paul the Apostle.  Before they could do God’s work, before they could do what we call ministry, they all had to draw near to God. When they did God, first revealed Himself to them and then second revealed His will for their lives – the thing(s) that He wanted them to do then they obeyed.

Many find it very hard to come into the presence of the Lord. It is almost warfare to bring yourself into His presence. And often times when we do, we find it hard to be still. Our thoughts go astray or just runaway. We lack the ability to concentrate. There are so many inner distractions and hindrances that prevent our coming before our God. But we must break through to our God. We must come before Him and let Him pour out into our spirits. No matter the difficulties and no matter what we go through we must maintain our place in God and know that we will be what God wants us to be.

God reveals that the real test of ministry, the real test of what you do as the Church, His Body in the earth, is found in these words: stand and minister to me. If we can not stand before God and minister to Him, then we can not stand and minister for Him in the world in which we live. And if we minister to the world without ministering to God first, there will be no lasting value in what we do. The weakness in the church today, the shallowness in ministry is due to saints, children of God, members of the Church, who will not spend time alone before God, ministering to Him before ministering to others. God desires a people who will see Him as the basis for ministry, and not so much the needs around them. For when we see God as the basis for ministry then we will be directed by God to do ministry and not directed by the needs around us.

In reading (studying) Daniel and Revelation you begin to see that what we (Christians) do is not just for on in our time. We must be getting ready to do the work of God on a world level, and the best way to do it is to personally commit yourself to the will of God and learn to obey Him in all He gives us personally. Your personal dedication and obedience will help you later on when Jesus comes again to reign on a world level. If you want to reign with Him and work with Him on a world level, then you must do those things that make for committed Christian life on a personal level now. Do you believe? Do you have faith? Are you living free from known sinning? Are you walking upright before God? Are you keeping His word? It should be the work of this pastor to even teach his members all points to have them personally ready to meet Jesus when He comes again and be ready to work for Him and with Him on all levels. Help me Lord to do this for your glory.

On the question of living in the Spirit while still in the flesh; on the question of being used by God; on the question of anything that has to do with being Christ life, think about the angels of God. They are always conscious of the presence of God. They are always yielded to God and to the will of God. All they do, they do by the will of God. They live only to do His will in all things. Now there is one thing that many have not tapped into; and that is this, the word of God. Angels and the true saints of God always move by the word of God. They know the power, of God, in His word. Thus, when He speaks, they listen and move to carry out what He says. Now is your time to open your heart daily and yield to the presence of God in your life. Then always move by the word of God in you, and move by His Spirit (anointing) in you.
