CHRIST MADE A CURSE FOR US

christGal 3: 13, 14 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Christ was made a curse for us. He took our place. He took the curse upon Himself, so that the blessing might come on the Gentiles through faith. We are no longer under the law. The law carried the curse with it. We live under grace. We live by faith.

So all that the curse brought to our lives or to the lives of mankind is no longer part of our lives. Christ has set us free from the curse of the law so that the blessing can return to our lives. We are blessed.

This is what makes the earth, natural things, like heavenly things. In other words, spiritual things of heaven are turn into physical things in the earth – the blessing. In other words, what you find in heaven, you are to find them in the earth by faith. Only the word of God can reveal to you what is in heaven… what is of the Spirit.

Thus, we step into the blessing. We are able to live out the life that God created for us to live by faith. We get to live in concert with God. Better than that, He becomes our life. We live because He lives in us.

Now Deut. 28 is the foundation of a blessed life… a prosperous life. To have the life of God in you changes everything. You live a better life. You live a greater life. You are replacing the life of the senses, the carnal life, with the life of God which is lived by faith according to the word of God.

You begin to grow… and increase in the earth according to the will and the word of God. This is the beginning of new life you have from God. You walk through the door of faith to all that God has for you – the blessing: joy, peace, strength, health, victories, overcoming, plenty supply, overcoming the enemies of your life, breakthroughs, having more than enough, answers to prayer, and on and on and on.
