God restores the life that Adam had in the beginning – his nature, his power, his character, his Spirit, his grace, his faith, his ability, his love, his purpose, his will…all that was lost in the fall of Adam and this is just the short list. Through Christ, mankind can take his/her rightful place before God. In Psalm 8 we find where God positioned mankind. Psalm 8:3-6 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the (angels) [The word is really Elohim.], and hast crowned him with glory and honor. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

You are the only part of the creation that has been made in God’s image. You are the only part of the creation that has been made in God’s likeness. Why? Because God wanted you, the man and woman, to be like Him. In other words, He reproduced Himself in you. He made people to be like Himself in the earth – to have His nature, to have His likeness, His character and His Spirit. We are sons and daughters of God living in this earth. We have been made in the image of God, after the likeness of God. We are just like God! As He is, the Bible declares, so are we in this world. That is until Satan came and deceived Adam and made Him fall. Through Adam’s disobedience all that God had made him was lost. Adam became a child of Satan and began to carry out the will of Satan in the earth instead of the will of God and every living human being followed Adam. Mankind was lost.

You are complete and whole in Him.  The living Word is on your lips and in your heart. (Meditate on this)  He is now building Himself into you by the living Word.  As Moses and others stepped up in faith, you are to step up in faith and bring into the earth the life and power of God, the nature of God, the character of God, and the ability of God.  Let this earth be filled with His life.  This is the will of God.  Just think of it, you receiving eternal life, the nature of God.  You have been born into His family and you have received His Divine Nature and Life.  You are as close to Him as Jesus Christ was when he walked the face of this earth.  When you became a partaker of His divine nature, you instantly receive His ability.  Therefore you can do the things He did when He was on the face of the earth.  John 14:12 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”  You can walk in love.  You can walk in faith.  You can walk in health.  You can walk in power.  You can walk in joy.  You can walk in victory.  You can walk in righteousness.  You can walk in mercy and grace.  You can walk in holiness.  Why?  Because all these things are in God and you now are in God.  You have been born of His Spirit – the Holy Spirit.

Learn to become dependent on the life and the ability of God that is in you…in your spirit.  When you are called upon to serve God and serve mankind here on earth, depend on the ability of God (the anointing) in your spirit.  Be spirit driven, not flesh driven.  Bring your flesh into subjection to your spirit and live God’s life in the earth.  This is what He is trying to get us to do.  This is what God wants. This is the will of God for you. Beloved, this is your reality.  This is the truth that you live by. You are delivered out of the authority of Satan as Israel was delivered out of Egypt.  You have been born into the family of God.  You are just as much a child of God as Jesus was when He walked the face of this earth.  You are a re-creation of God.  You have been born of the Spirit.  You have the life of God and the nature of God in you.  You have the love and wisdom of the Father in Christ.  He now is the strength of your life.  He has given to you His ability, His life, His Holy Spirit.  The new life you have is His Spirit life in you.  You have a legal right to the use of the name of Jesus the Christ, and all authority in heaven and earth is in that Name.

In the recreation process we have more than forgiveness of sins.  We have been given back the life of God, the nature of God, the character of God, and the ability of God to live here on earth.  Otherwise nothing has change.  Otherwise, we are still living dominated and controlled by sin and Satan.  But my Bible tells me that any man be in Christ is a new creation, old things have passed away behold all things have become new.  You are new creations now.  You have been re-created.  You have new life in you.  You have God’s life in you not Satan’s life.  You are to live your new life – God’s life – everyday. All through the Old Testament, we have been given glimpses of this life.  We call them miracles but God is showing how living His life knows no limits, cannot be controlled by the natural or by nature, and is not dominated by fallen man or Satan.

You are connected to God in all things. This truth will change your whole life.  Every thing will change. To know that you have come out of God and because you have come out of Him, you have His life in you. You have His nature and character in you. You have His love in you, His faith in you, peace, joy, strength, grace, mercy, longsuffering, meekness, goodness, gentleness, compassion, all that He is, you have in you or if you can not receive that then say you are connected to all of this. God is your source.  You have access to all of this and more. This changes your lifestyle. This changes the way you live. You are a new creation now. You live what is in your spirit. You are dominated and controlled by what is in your spirit. You live the life of God in your spirit.  What is in God is now in you as you walk the face of this earth. And this is what God wanted all the time. This is what He created in Adam.

You, your spirit, came out of God.  You were created in His image, made in His likeness. You were born of His Spirit. You are one, in spirit, with God. You have come out of Him. He is love so you came out of love. He is power, all power, so you came out of all power. He is faith so you came out of faith. He is righteousness so you came out of righteousness. He is wisdom so you came out of wisdom. He is whole so you came out of wholeness. He is all knowing so you came out of all knowing. If you cannot see yourself as coming out of God, then see yourself connected to God. Look at it as God being your source for love, power, faith, righteousness, wisdom, completeness, wholeness, and knowledge. See God as your source for all things.

You came out of God. You were born of God’s Spirit. The part of you that is like God, the part of you that was created in the image and likeness of God, is your spirit. This is the part of you that came out of God that was recreated – born again, because of the fall of Adam. Remember, the body is the house that you live in on earth.  With the body, you interact with the earth realm, the natural realm, the things of this world.  You have a soul, and with the soul you interact with the intellectual realm.  You think, you converse, you meditate, you will.  You have emotions.  You have desires, etc.  Then you have a spirit, and with your spirit, you interact with the spirit realm and with God’s Spirit.  All that pertains to God, you are able to interact with it with your spirit, now that you have been born again.  You live out of your spirit now that you have been recreated.  Your spirit is connected to God; more than that, it is one with God.  So you bring your soul and your body into subjection to your spirit and live the life that God wants you to live in the earth.

In the New Testament portion of our text, we find that, (John 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  God is the beginning of all things.  There was nothing in the earth or out of the earth, seen or unseen before there was God.  He was called the Word. In the beginning was the Word.  The Word was with God. This speaks of the Son of God, and the Word was God.  So in the beginning there was God and there was whom we know as the Son of God, the Creator.  This explains the passage that reads, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”  2 “The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him (the Son of God); and without Him was not any thing made that was made.”  The Creator of all things was God the Son.  He made all things.  All you see and do not see, all of the heavens and its host, the planets, the universes, the earth, all were made by God.  Without Him was not any thing made that was made.

When Jesus died and rose from the grave, He made it possible for man to be born again.  All that believe on Jesus Christ would be reborn (the coming out of death to life).  In fact, in Ezekiel, we find that man would have a new spirit, that God would even put His Spirit in them and that they would have a heart of flesh.  I would like to call that the rebirth experience…that born again experience, recreation, for that is what happened.  Man was recreated with the same purpose and intent in the beginning.  In the image and likeness of God was man recreated, to have dominion over all the earth.  Listen, you were created in the image and likeness of God and recreated in the image and likeness of God.  This is key and important.
